I had a great lesson with Shannon Peters today with Smiley. We worked a lot on lateral responsiveness and reaction time to the lateral aids- looking to raise our scores at 3rd level even more! Especially concentrated on his responsiveness to my aids asking him to move his haunches left and right in the walk, trot, and canter. We've got next week and most of the following week to polish it up... Festival of the Horse is Smiley's next show.

Next weekend is the Arabian show @ LAEC- TeamBanks will be making an appearance. Kathy and Rene are showing their horses... Rene has his own blog (forthcoming) called the Amateur Corner. Maybe we should link the dressage blogs?
